Care Connect Programme

Supporting myeloma and AL amyloidosis carers across Europe

Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) is launching the Care Connect Programme to strengthen support for carers of people living with myeloma and AL amyloidosis across Europe. Carers play a vital role in supporting patients through diagnosis, treatment, recovery and long-term care. Through MPE member feedback and strategic planning, a clear need has been identified to increase dedicated support, education, peer-to-peer connection and advocacy opportunities for carers at both national and European levels. The Care Connect Programme forms part of MPE’s wider strategic goal on identifying and addressing the needs of carers. Through this initiative, MPE aims to empower member organisations to develop and expand sustainable programmes that directly address the needs of carers within their countries. The programme will provide three selected MPE member organisations with:
  • Funding support
  • Capacity-building and training opportunities
  • Peer-to-peer collaboration opportunities
  • Programme development support
  • Monitoring and evaluation guidance

MPE is pleased to invite member organisations to apply for the MPE Care Connect Grants 2026–2028.
