What is European Myeloma Day?
27 September is European Myeloma Day. MPE hosts this every year to raise awareness of myeloma and bring together our extraordinary community. This year’s theme is Shared Decision-Making, what it is and why it matters for both patients and healthcare professionals.

What is shared decision-making?
We know that when patients are actively involved in decision-making, they feel more empowered, better understand their treatment, and are more likely to stick with it. MPE recently conducted research that shows many myeloma patients want to be more informed and involved in shaping their treatment and care.
