To help patients and advocates digest the most important myeloma news from the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2025 Annual Congress, the largest haematology event in Europe, Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) will host a webinar on Tuesday, 24 June at 17:00 CET.

The session will be led by Dr. Ulf-Henrik Mellqvist, Haematologist and Associate Professor at Södra Älvsborgs sjukhus and Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden. Dr. Mellqvist will provide a patient-friendly summary of key takeaways from the congress and will respond to questions from the audience.

Meet the speaker

Dr. Ulf-Henrik Mellqvist is a haematologist and an academic researcher. He is currently associate professor at Södra Älvsborgs sjukhus and Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Sweden. He has more than 30 years of experience in the myeloma clinical and research fields. During his career, he has authored more than 90 publications in renown scientific journals. He is the former president of the Nordic Myeloma Study Group, the Swedish Myeloma study Group, the Swedish Hematology Association and is currently a member of the International Myeloma Society, American Society of Hematology, and of the International Myeloma Working Group.
