EHA 2026 interviews and highlights
MPE at EHA2026: Stockholm in review
EHA2026 brought thousands of researchers, clinicians and patient advocates together in Stockholm for four days of cutting-edge science, discussion and connection. For the MPE team, it was a week of in-depth learning and valuable exchanges with stakeholders.
What we did
Across the congress we attended myeloma scientific sessions, EHA committee meetings, patient advocacy symposia, advisory boards and meetings with haematologists, researchers and industry. We had strong representation throughout the congress, including:
- MPE board members Snezana Doder and Barbara Leonardi presented patient perspectives on treatment access and inequality.
- Access and Policy Manager, Monica Racovita, took part in a ECLLA Multi-Stakeholder Panel Discussion: “Time Off Treatment in CLL: Clinical Control and Patient Priorities in Fixed-Duration Treatment.”
- Head of Patient Research, Eilidh Duncan, presented MPE’s data on individualised treatment and shared decision-making alongside leading doctors, as well as a poster showing MPE’s research on real-world experiences of family carers supporting people with myeloma
- Head of Medical Education and Scientific Engagement, Solene Clavreul, presented the results of MPE and TriNetX’s collaborative research on real-world eligibility and treatment decision factors, alternative treatments and outcomes of myeloma patients considered for CAR T-cell therapy in Germany
- We brought 10 participants from our Advocate Development Programme to the congress as part of their ongoing training
What we heard: interviews and research highlights
We filmed exclusive interviews with leading clinicians throughout the congress, interviewing some of the leading doctors from across Europe on the latest results on the most important myeloma and AL amyloidosis clinical trials.
Watch the videos below.
Dr. Albert Oriol, explains the results of the MONUMENTAL-3 trial for relapsed/refractory myeloma patients, at EHA 2026.
Dr. Cyrille Touzeau talks through the results from the phase III MajesTEC-9 clinical trial and explains the benefits of teclistamab monotherapy compared with standard of care combinations in patients with relapsed or refractory myeloma.
Dr. Alberto Orial explains the results of the late breaking abstract SUCCESSOR-2 evaluating mezigdomide, carfilzomib and dexamethasone (mezikd) vs carfilzomib and dexamethasone (kd) in relapsed/refractory myeloma.
Dr. Ashutosh Wechalekar, explains the phase III CARES clinical trial and the results show a survival benefit of adding the amyloid depleter anselamimab (also known as CAEL-101) to standard treatments in patients with newly diagnosed stage IIIa and IIIb AL amyloidosis.
Dr. Binod Dhakal, explains the phase 1 clinical trial known as CaMMouflage. This trial shows the safety and preliminary efficacy of the allogeneic anti-BCMA CAR T-cell therapy CB-011 in patients with relapsed or refractory myeloma.
Dr. Cyrille Touzeau explains the results of the phase 2 ERASMM (EMN34) study, which evaluates safety and efficacy of elranatamab as early intervention in patients with high-risk smoldering myeloma.
Dr Ashutosh Wechalekar explains the early efficacy and safety results from the phase I/II LINKER AL2 clinical trial. This trial shows promising results for the BCMA bispecific antibody linvoseltamab in patients with relapsed or refractory AL amyloidosis.
