As part of the European Bone Marrow Transplant (EBMT) group’s annual conference, there will be a Patient and Family Day on Saturday 6 April 2013.
The EBMT Annual Meeting is the most important annual event for research and education in the field of bone marrow transplantation in Europe and during the conference a special Patient and Family Day will be held for patients who have undergone a bone marrow transplant and their families.
This year’s meeting is being held at the Mermaid Theatre, Puddle Dock in Blackfriars, London. The day long event will provide an opportunity to meet other patients, talk to medical experts and hear about the latest developments in bone marrow transplantation. Talks will be given by leading experts on myeloma, lymphoma & leukaemia transplants in children and young adults, how donors are chosen, GvHD, practical and psychological challenges facing patients and the costs of bone marrow transplant.
Registration costs just £10 (€11). For more information about the conference and to register, visit http://www.congrex.ch/ebmt2013/patient-family-day.html
